Don't burn your unwanted items or resources, such as wood or paper. If you have any unwanted items, try using some of the bit and pieces which are used on the item, or go to a car boot, and sell the item! Or even give them away to neighbours, and see if they can use it in any way! Do not burn the items, as it is polluting the earth, and it is wasting resources, costing your valuable money. Burning things adds to the pollution in the earths atmosphere, which is building up, and fires are one of the worst polluters ever becasue they give off lots of harmful gases which go into the atmosphere.

Airtight Windows and Doors

Make your windows, doors, and other areas which lead to the outside, airtight! By doing this you will save money on your heating bills, because you won't get cooler air coming in from the outdoors. It would also help if your loft was insulated well, or the loft hatch was airtight. By making these areas airtight, it will save you money on your heating bills, because the warm air from the heating is kept in, and the cold air from outside is kept out! Making the areas airtight usually involves putting a rubber strip along the edges of the door, to seal them shut. Not only does it maintain the temperature, it keeps the insects from outside, out of your house!

Don't burn things!
